Five steps from checkout to certificate
- Pick your edition and courses. Open the Saudi Arabia edition and browse all courses, or start from the remediation or ethics and professionalism pages if you know what you need.
- Pay online. Add courses to your cart and pay by card. Multi-course savings are applied in the cart automatically.
- Study at your own pace. Your courses appear in your account straight away. Progress is saved, so you can stop and return whenever you like within 12 months.
- Pass the final assessment. Answer the scenario questions and reach 80%.
- Download your certificate and complete your reflection. Both are yours to keep and use.
What studying looks like
Each course is divided into short sections that you read on screen. They explain the rule, show where it comes from in Saudi law or SCFHS guidance, and then apply it to realistic situations in Saudi hospitals, clinics and pharmacies. Short knowledge checks after key sections let you test yourself before moving on. Nothing is timed, and there are no live sessions to attend.
The final assessment
- 20 scenario-based multiple-choice questions, or 30 in the 4-hour Health Violations Committee and Sharia Health Panel course
- Pass mark 80%: 16 out of 20, or 24 out of 30
- Questions ask what you would do in a situation, so they test understanding rather than memory
- If you do not pass, review the sections where you lost marks and try again
The answer options are written to be similar in length and all plausible, so the assessment is passed by working through the course, not by guessing. That is what gives the certificate its value.
Your certificate and reflective account
Your certificate of completion shows your name, the course title, the Saudi Arabia edition, the learning hours and the date you passed, with a unique certificate ID. It confirms that you completed the course and passed its assessment. It does not certify your clinical competence.
The reflective account template walks you through what prompted the learning, what you took from it, what you will do differently and how you will show the change in your work. Write it in your own words: a specific reflection is far more convincing than a general one.
Protect confidentiality. Do not include patient names, file numbers or anything else that could identify a patient or colleague. If you have an open complaint or case, talk to your lawyer or insurer before writing about it.
Using your learning with SCFHS or a committee
For registration renewal. Our courses do not carry SCFHS CPD hours. SCFHS decides how any learning counts towards your registration; you can apply to SCFHS to have learning recognised through the Recognition of CPD Hours service in Mumaris Plus. SCFHS lists a fee of SAR 100 and a service time of 30 business days, and asks for documents in your name, in Arabic or English, that clearly relate to your field. Our renewal guide covers this in detail.
After a complaint or committee notice. Your certificate and reflection can help you show that you understand the standard involved and what you have changed. Only the body handling your case decides what it accepts, so if a decision names specific training, check with that body first.
Buying for a team
Savings apply in the cart: SAR 115 off 3 or more courses, SAR 175 off 5 or more and SAR 290 off 10 or more. If you are arranging courses for a department or a group of staff, contact us and tell us how many learners and which courses.
Questions
How long do I have to finish a course?
You have 12 months' access from purchase. There is no deadline for individual sections, and your progress is saved each time you leave.
Can I study on my phone?
Yes. Courses work on phones, tablets and computers, so you can study between shifts. Your progress follows your account, not the device.
What happens if I do not reach 80%?
You can review the course and take the assessment again. We suggest going back over the sections linked to the questions you missed before you retry.
Do I have to finish in one sitting?
No. Most people complete a 2-hour course over two or three sessions. Nothing is timed.
Can someone check that my certificate is genuine?
Each certificate has a unique ID. If an employer or committee wants to confirm it, they can email support@gulfmedethics.com with the ID, and we will confirm it with your permission.
